From November 16th to April 16th of the following year the road to Kamikochi is closed due to snow during every winter.Only expert climbers who have professional climbing equipments can approach to go Kamikochi.

☆Temporarily parking lot for convenience who climbs to Kamikochi.
During the winter season, the parking lot indicated by the below link is temporarily opened. There is a public toilet and foot spa near the temporarily parking lot. And you can use wi-fi in the part of temporarily parking lot.

★Warning: During the winter season[ K-19 Sawando Bus Terminal which is listed in the timetable] is temporarily closed.
So you need to ride the bus at[ K-21 Asiyukoenmae].(Japanese notation「足湯公園前」)

You can also use taxis from the parking entrance to Nakanoyu.However, they are not always waiting.
☆Charging facilities for electric vehicle
Charging facilities for electric vehicle in the vicinity are in operation, but may not be available during snowy weather.

There is a commercial facility with a toilet near the temporary parking lot.Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in principle (excluding year-end and New Year holidays) You can always use this toilet.
